10-year-old Cameron hasn’t had a lot of good breaks in the past few years. Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 8, he underwent an above knee amputation and extensive chemotherapy to save his life. We met Cameron a few months ago when he and his mom visited our office to see if we could fit him with a leg that would allow him to be more comfortable, ride his bike, and participate in sports. Cameron checked out the “golf center” currently under construction at POA and excitedly told us that he was learning to play. Last week, he was thrilled to receive his new prosthetic leg and eager to go home and try it out. But we had a surprise for him before he left…. 🙂 Stan’s friends from Edwin Watts Golf on Turkey Lake Rd, Orlando, brought Cameron everything he would need to get him out on the golf course in style! – a bag filled with U.S. Kids golf clubs; golf balls; a U.S. Kids visor; Nike golf shoes; and Puma shirt and shorts to complete the look! Thanks to Edwin Watts Golf, U.S. Kids, and Nike for all your help!
