JR, Bilateral Above Knee Amputee

JR, a bi-lateral above knee amputee who traveled to Orlando from Guam,  is a true example of what can be accomplished with a lot of hard work and determination.  The following video shows JR in various stages of gait, strength, and exercise training.  He also learned how to climb up and down stairs and walk smoothly and with confidence on inclines and uneven terrain.   JR’s Formula for Success

Brett Bolton (hip disarticulate amputee) places 2nd in Gymnastics Competition

6-year-old Brett Bolton, born without a leg, has come a long way since he was adopted from an orphanage in China 4 years ago. Not only is his running, walking, and keeping up with other kids his age, Brett also excels at gymnastics.  He recently competed in a competition with able-bodied kids and took 2nd place in floor exercises!  View this video to see his winning performance —>Brett at Gymnastics

Congratulations on running your first 5K race, Carla!!, 2/22/2013

High fives and hugs going out to Carla, who finished her First 5K – the 2013 Gasparilla Classic in Tampa, FL!!!! “I ran my first 5K today with no pain, no leg falling off and no issues whatsoever!,” exclaims Carla. “Ran it in 37min 05sec, and could have done better if it wasn’t so crowded.”  Love this girl….and her attitude!
