OPAF’s introducing First Row in Orlando next month! Ever try adaptive rowing or skulling? Here’s your chance!

OPAF is introducing a new First Clinic next month here in Orlando! First Row will be an introduction to adaptive rowing and skulling and will be held on Friday evening, February 22nd on the tennis courts of the Caribe Royale Resort. The staff of South Orlando Rowing Association will be on hand with “ergs”to offer you the chance to try adaptive rowing.

Steve Chamberland, POA friend, former pro wrestler, below-knee amputee, and founder of 50 Legs, a non-profit organization which raises money to provide prosthetics for children, has been nominated for Bay News 9’s “Everyday Heroes Viewers’ Choice Award”. Jodi’s Bainter’s book, “Make it Morning,” is the story of her family’s journey after her son, Jake, was accidentally run over by a riding lawnmower in 2004.
