Steve Chamberland of 50Legs.org teamed with POA to provide some of the funding for prosthetic care of these 5 lovely little ladies! 50Legs.org is a non-profit organization which Steve, a former pro wrestler and below-knee amputee, established to provide funding for prosthetic care for children in need. Born with a limb deficiency, Samantha recently underwent revision/amputation surgery which allowed her to be fit with a prosthetic leg. We have an update on little Luna of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! ♥ Five months ago she learned to walk on her prosthetic leg, and since then this spunky 2-year-old has been unstoppable! Her father sent us the following video to update us on her progress. Bravo, Luna!!! 🙂 Click Here to view video
10-year-old Cameron, an above knee amputee, enjoyed a climb on POA’s rock climbing/training wall during a recent visit to our office. We love introducing our patients to new things and helping to instill a “no limits” attitude in them!
