Just received some great news and video from Franklin – he rode a bike for the first time since losing all four of his limbs to a near-deadly bacterial infection in 2011. “I hope you guys are okay. Tyler, Bilateral Amputee, Walking Independently – With Confidence!
Tyler began walking on his new prosthetic legs *all by himself* last week. This little boy has had the cards stacked against him since day one, and its been a blessing to witness and be part of his journey and all the progress he has made. We can’t wait to see what he does in the future. Way to go, Tyler!

Zayden Takes His First Steps since losing his leg in Lawn Mower accident
POA and 50Legs.org friends and family joined together to cheer on little Zayden as he took his first steps on his finished prosthesis. He was so happy to see his new “toes,” and proud of his Thomas the Train prosthetic leg! This 3-year-old dynamo is going to be up and running in no time!
