Officer Lonnie Taylor, on medical leave from the Sanford Police department after losing his leg to cancer six months ago, was determined to get back to work as soon as possible. He never once considered the possibility of returning to a desk job, and today he returned to full duty at the Sanford Police Department, passing all the physical agility testing with ease.
